Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Signal Marketplace website located at signalmarketplace.co.uk and all associated features, tools, and services (collectively the "Platform").
By accessing the Platform, creating an account, or using any feature of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform including visitors, registered users, buyers, sellers, and members.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. By using the Platform you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18 you must not create an account or use any feature of the Platform.
What the Platform Is
Signal Marketplace is a technology platform that provides tools and infrastructure for traders. The Platform currently includes the following features:
- Trading Tools — including a trade journal, backtesting simulator, prop challenge tracker, position size calculators, and economic calendar
- Charts — live price charts for forex, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrency markets
- News and Blog — curated market news and educational content from third-party sources and platform authors
- Marketplace — a facility for independent third-party sellers to list trading signals, bots, strategies, courses and indicators for sale to buyers through the Platform
- User Accounts — registered accounts allowing users to save data, access tools, and interact with the platform
Signal Marketplace is a technology platform only. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial regulatory body. We do not provide financial advice, investment advice, portfolio management, or any regulated financial service. Nothing on this Platform constitutes a financial promotion or recommendation to trade.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the Platform as a whole at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
User Accounts
To access certain features of the Platform you must create a registered account. When creating an account you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials including your password
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately at support@signalmarketplace.co.uk if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
- You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their express permission
- You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent a ban or restriction placed on a previous account
- You may not transfer your account to any other person
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including where we reasonably believe the account holder has breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to other users.
Choose a strong, unique password for your account. We will never ask you for your password by email or through any channel other than the Platform login page. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Platform. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Using the Platform to provide, promote, or facilitate regulated financial services without appropriate FCA authorisation
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent performance data, win rates, ROI figures, or testimonials
- Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
- Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
- Scraping, crawling, or otherwise extracting data from the Platform without our express written permission
- Using the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications or spam
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users of the Platform
- Engaging in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform or servers
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any security measures or access controls on the Platform
- Using the Platform in any way that violates applicable UK or international laws or regulations
Breach of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination, removal of content, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities. We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to protect the Platform and its users.
Marketplace — Sellers and Buyers
The Marketplace feature of the Platform facilitates transactions between independent third-party sellers and buyers. Signal Marketplace acts solely as a technology intermediary and is not a party to any transaction between sellers and buyers.
Sellers agree that:
- All performance data, win rates, ROI figures, drawdown statistics and other metrics displayed in listings must be accurate and verifiable
- They are solely responsible for the delivery, quality, and legality of the products or services they list
- They will not list any product or service that requires FCA authorisation without holding such authorisation
- They are responsible for any tax obligations arising from sales made through the Platform
- Signal Marketplace may remove any listing at its sole discretion without notice or liability
- The Platform commission rate of 15 percent applies to all sales facilitated through the Platform
Buyers agree that:
- They conduct their own due diligence before purchasing any product or service listed on the Platform
- Signal Marketplace does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the performance or quality of any listing
- Past performance data displayed on listings is not indicative of future results
- They are solely responsible for any trading decisions made based on signals, strategies, or content purchased through the Platform
- Disputes with sellers should first be raised with the seller directly through the Platform messaging system
Signal Marketplace is not responsible for the conduct, performance, or legal compliance of any seller listed on the Platform. We provide the technology infrastructure only. Any contract for the sale of goods or services is between the buyer and seller directly.
Payments, Subscriptions and Refunds
All payments on the Platform are processed securely by Stripe. Signal Marketplace does not store your card details. By making a payment you agree to Stripe's own terms of service.
Member Subscriptions:
- The Member plan is billed at the current rate shown on the Platform and checkout page and provides access to premium features including discounted purchases, trial access, and exclusive content
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial months following cancellation
Marketplace Purchases:
- Listing prices and billing currency are shown on the relevant listing and checkout pages
- Once a digital product or service has been delivered or access has been granted, the purchase is generally non-refundable unless the seller has failed to deliver as described
- Refund disputes should be raised with us within 14 days of purchase at support@signalmarketplace.co.uk
- We reserve the right to issue refunds at our discretion in cases of clear seller misrepresentation or non-delivery
Prices and billing currency are displayed on the relevant listing, subscription, and checkout pages. Your bank or card provider may charge foreign exchange or card fees where applicable. Signal Marketplace is not responsible for any such fees.
Disclaimers and Risk Warnings
The following disclaimers apply to all use of the Platform and all content, tools, signals, strategies, and services accessed through it.
Trading financial instruments including forex, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, and equities involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Leveraged trading can result in losses that exceed your initial deposit. You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Always seek independent financial advice from a qualified professional before making any trading or investment decisions.
- No financial advice — nothing on this Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument
- No guarantee of results — we make no representation that any signal, strategy, bot, course, or indicator available on the Platform will be profitable or achieve any particular result
- Third party content — news, blog posts, and educational content sourced from third parties is provided for informational purposes only. We do not endorse or verify such content
- Tool accuracy — while we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of our trading tools, calculators, charts, and data feeds, we cannot guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose
- Platform availability — we do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or for reasons beyond our control
- Third party services — the Platform relies on third party services including Supabase and Stripe. We are not responsible for any interruption, loss, or damage caused by the failure of these services
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Signal Marketplace and its operator shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:
- Any financial losses incurred as a result of trading decisions made based on signals, strategies, content, or tools accessed through the Platform
- Any loss arising from the acts or omissions of third-party sellers listed on the Marketplace
- Any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill
- Any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages of any kind
- Any loss arising from Platform downtime, technical errors, or data inaccuracies
- Any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account where you have failed to take reasonable steps to protect your credentials
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
You acknowledge that trading financial markets carries inherent risk and that you are solely responsible for all trading decisions you make. Signal Marketplace provides tools and a marketplace platform only. We accept no responsibility for the outcome of any trade or investment decision made by any user of this Platform.
Termination and Suspension
Either party may terminate the relationship governed by these Terms at any time. The following provisions apply to termination and suspension of accounts.
Termination by you:
- You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@signalmarketplace.co.uk
- If you have an active paid subscription you should cancel it before closing your account to avoid further charges
- Upon account closure we will process deletion of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
Termination or suspension by us:
- We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we believe you have breached these Terms
- We may suspend or terminate your account if we are required to do so by law or a regulatory authority
- We may suspend or terminate your account if your conduct poses a risk to other users or to the integrity of the Platform
- We may terminate inactive accounts that have not been accessed for a period of 24 months, with reasonable notice where possible
Upon termination of your account, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Any active subscriptions will be cancelled. Data associated with your account will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention obligations. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply including liability limitations and disclaimers.
General Provisions
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Entire Agreement: These Terms together with our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Signal Marketplace in relation to your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time without restriction.
